We are introducing a Travel Money Card “Refer a Friend” scheme.

This scheme will launch on 14 October, targeting a small percentage of our existing customer base.

What Is Refer a Friend

Refer a Friend scheme invites friends and family of existing TMC customers to receive a referral payment when a friend or family purchases a card, and the good bit is they receive a payment too.

  1. All valid card holders are eligible to refer friends & family (maximum 3 confirmed referrals).
  2. Friends & family can purchase a TMC card through any sales channel within 3 months of registering the referrers unique link.
  3. Their first load must be a minimum of £100 or the foreign currency equivalent.
  4. A £7 reward payment will be loaded to the Travel Money Card of both the referrer (7 sterling) and referee (£7’s worth of the same currency as their initial load.
  5. The reward will be paid within 3 weeks of the 14-day cooling-off period.

Here is how it works:

  1. Existing customers will receive the offer via email or app notification.
  2. Existing customers will be required to sign up and register on a referral platform and will receive a unique link.
  3. Existing customers can share the unique link via email, social or what’s app
  4. Friends & family will see the offer and register themselves as a friend or family using the unique link.
  5. Friends & family purchase a Travel Money Card (TMC) with a minimum of £100 load or foreign currency equivalent. within 3 months of registering as a friend or family.
  6. The referrer and their friends & family will receive the £7 rewards within 3 weeks, once the 14-day cooling off period has been completed.
