The Council Tax Energy Bills Rebate is intended to help households with rising energy costs.

The Government has announced a package of support to help households with rising energy bills.
You will receive £150 to help with energy costs if the property where you live is in council tax bands A-D
and you were living there on 1st April 2022.

Letter provided has post office payout barcode, you can redeem cash before last date of the collection.

Details of proof of identity requirements are included in the letter. You must present the letter at the Gale Street Post Office in order to claim the payment. The Gale Street Post Office will not be able to make the payment without it.

The letters can be used to claim the £150 energy payment up to 31st July. If you do not claim the payment before that date, alternative payment arrangements will be considered at that time.
