Post Office Savings ID and Income Verification
Find out about how the Post Office can certify your identity and income documents for Post Office Savings applications.
Verifying your Identity and Income
We’ve started processing your Post Office Savings application. Now we just need a few more details.
If we’ve asked for proof of your identity, your permanent address and/or your income, here’s what to do:
- Complete and follow the instructions within your letter
- Drop into a Gale Street Post Office branch along with your letter, where your documents can be certified free of charge. The Gale Street Post office can also post document for you once they have been certified. Note that only proof of ID and proof of address must be certified before sending into us. Income documents do not require certification.
- Alternatively, once your documents have been certified, send them to us along with the form in the Freepost envelope provided with your letter
Please be aware certified photocopies won’t be returned to you.
